Yesterday we celebrated the life of colleague and technology educator, Liz Wernig, who died of cancer on Christmas Day. Her obituary can be found here. Liz was a wonderful colleague and friend. We are inspired by the following words Liz wrote in a letter to friends and family before she died:
I had my dream job. I am not lying when I say that every day for 16 years as I would unlock the door to my classroom lab, I would thank God that I was there doing what I love. I was so grateful to be working with kids in a wonderful school system with many caring colleagues and awesome students. It was my joy! – Liz Wernig
